Arc Benders was created to celebrate everyday superheroes who are changing their communities without the expectation of any reward.

The name "Arc Benders" is inspired by the quote from Theodore Parker, "the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice," which was made famous by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
